BA (hons) Fine Art :: Environmental Art
[1992-1997]
The programme of the Department provides the opportunity to develop a public art practice by encouraging students to discover their own way of responding to the myriad possibilities that public spaces/social spaces offer. To achieve this, in addition to studio-based activities and the supporting programme of seminars and lectures, each student carries out at least one public art project each year. Students select their own setting, gain permission for its use, research it, propose and execute a work which is then set up on site for one or two weeks, and the entire process is documented. |
